Compassionate Care is a organization whose mission is to provide alternative and complementary care to individuals who do not have resources to fund these caring treatments. We are currently seeking 501c3 status. Please review our Pilot Study of Compassionate Care through Acupuncture.

Compassionate Care believes that the integration of traditional bio-medicine and other evidence-based alternative therapies (acupuncture, somatic and behavioral therapies, etc) provides a more comprehensive, safe, and effective treatment plan for patients. As many alternative therapies are not covered by insurance, Compassionate Care will assist financially to make these therapies accessible for patients who would not otherwise be able to receive this collaborative care.

Some primary objectives of Compassionate Care are:
  • To be a change agent in the community, promoting information about and access to integrative medicines
  • Create change in health care provision and reimbursement to include integrative medicines and therapies
  • Build a network of partners in the health care (traditional and alternative) communities, art community, philanthropic community, and the general public to work together
  • Educate traditional providers as well as insurance companies about the benefits of integrative medicine for long term health and fiscal benefits
